Who We Are
Mr. & Mrs. Mattern were the original owners of Hawks Prairie Auto & Boat Licensing, founded in 1980. The Mattern’s are our current owner Kaye’s parents. Their first location was XXXX, they have since moved X times, spending the last XX years in the Hawks Prairie Location. In 20xx Mrs. Mattern officially retired and sold the business to her Daughter, Kaye Mayo who had been managing the office for the last xx years.

We are located off of exit 111 in The Hawks Prairie Shopping Center, in the same complex as Safeway, across Marvin Rd from Costco. Our crossroads are Marvin and Martin. We are 5 doors down from Safeway, sandwiched between Papa Murphy’s Pizza and Supercuts. Parking is ample. We offer curbside service for those unable to physically walk into the office.
Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
All State Holidays: Closed
We accept cash and check for payment.
There is an ATM located inside of our office.

We are privately owned and operated.
We are not state or county employees. We contract with the Thurston County Auditor’s Office to do the State of Washington’s Title and Registration work. The only money we make is the Sub – Agency Fee collected on each transaction.
We don’t make the rules. We just work here.
